Weber

The Waverly-Shell Rock Community School District is pleased to announce that Mr. Brady Weber, current High School Associate Principal, has accepted an offer to serve as Waverly-Shell Rock’s next High School Principal.

Principal-elect Weber has been an integral part of the Waverly-Shell Rock learning community since 2016, initially serving as High School Associate Principal alongside Principal David Fox. During Weber’s tenure, he has been instrumental in developing initiatives that support both academic and personal growth for our students. His efforts have included enhancing our facilities, creating supportive environments for at-risk students, and fostering a culture of innovation and learning.

In his previous role at Stilwell Junior High, Weber initiated the first full Project-Based Learning team in Iowa and has been a passionate advocate for educational excellence.

Weber shared, “I am honored and humbled to step into the role of principal at Waverly-Shell Rock High School. We have incredible students, staff, and families, and I’m excited to grow and learn alongside them. There is something truly special about being a Go-Hawk, and I look forward to carrying forward the legacy of excellence and pride that makes every day a great day to be a Go-Hawk!”

“Our interview teams were impressed with Mr. Weber’s energy; commitment; enthusiasm, and passion passion,” said Superintendent David Hill.  “We’re excited about the leadership and vision he brings and look forward to the continued success and achievements of our students under his guidance.”

Pending board approval, Weber will officially begin his duties on July 1, 2025.  Weber will succeed Principal David Fox, who will retire on June 30, following a successful career in leadership within the district.
