Over 30 educators took the September Well-Being Challenge by experimenting with different well-being practices and 'filling their cups' by documenting each day they engaged in self-care. It is impossible to fill others up if your cup is empty. Congrats to this month's winners: Lisa Johnston, Sonia Eggelston, and Melissa Miller.

Thank you to Fredricks for opening up for our high school staff during lunch today.
770 Kindergarten through 4th grade students learned how to "Name it to Tame it" in the last two weeks. When we understand our feelings we can shift to an emotion that has the right amount of energy and the right amount of joy so we are better learners and better people. We used the characters on the mood meters to expand our emotional vocabulary and the three breathing tools are just a few ways we know how to regulate our feelings.

Ever wonder what staff do on Professional Development days? High school teachers spent the morning learning about dyslexia, including how to support students with reading difficulties in their classrooms.
