We’re excited to launch the Lied Education Center's PTO – a volunteer group dedicated to creating meaningful connections between our students, staff, and the community! Here’s what we aim to achieve:
Build Community Connections: Help bridge the gap between the Lied Education Center and our Waverly-Shell Rock communities. Let's foster understanding and support for the important work happening here.
Student Mentorship: Become a positive role model and mentor, offering students confidence-building support, friendship, and real-world connections.
Event Planning & Participation: Join us in organizing fun and educational events for students and staff. Your ideas and energy can bring our events to life!
Resource & Support Network: Help gather and provide resources like school supplies or winter clothing to meet students' needs and make their experience even more enriching.
We're looking for 10-15 community members who can dedicate around three hours a month. With monthly meetings and quarterly gatherings, the commitment is manageable but meaningful!
