Monday we learn about fire safety from our local Waverly Fire and Rescue Department. Mrs. Phillips's 4th grade class enjoyed practicing escaping the blowup house and talking with the different firefighters.

Prairie West had a special visit from the Waverly Fire Department for Fire Prevention Week! They brought along their brand-new fire prevention inflatable house, and it was a hit! 🏠✨
Our students learned essential fire safety tips while having a blast exploring the inflatable house. A huge thank you to the firefighters for their dedication to keeping us safe and for making learning fun!

Kindergarten/4th Grade Buddies worked together to build a buddy chain. They brainstormed, wrote, and drew ways to show how to WORK HARD, STAY SAFE, and RESPECT ALL!
